Thank you to the group that set this reunion up. Well done ! I recently attended my husband's 50th HS reunion (his happened after 51 years because no one volunteered to put it together earlier and had 35 attendees). His reunion was fun too, but the group that coordinated ours generated more interest in the event through fun reminder posts, etc. A very fun event ! Pat Rohrback and I were talking about the idea of another event (maybe a picnic) in much less then another 10 years, maybe in 2 years ?  The food was great, the open bar, old friends, pictures and the talk of our HS years....thank you all.

Nice job Sandi Kathy Bev Ruth Pam Dewey Sandi. Mike F also, I'm still chuckling at awarding a prize to "a duck?" after Oregon beat the huskies that day.... my son's a duck. I had several exceptional surprises. It was a warm and pleasant evening.

Happy 50th to one and all!

Wish I could make it this year!

I live in Fredericksburg Texas with my wife Marcia (Priebe) will have our 37th anniversary soon. Retired, enjoy golf and playing guitar.

My best to all, I do get up there once in awhile to see my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons.

I have enjoyed my time with Mike Smiley, Pam Woods and Vicki Anderson (Tranter).

Wish you all good health and enjoy.

Greetings Class of '69!  I'm in Class of '68, and we had a blast at our reunion!  It was great to see old friends and catch up on the stories of 50 years of the long and winding road.  I happen to live in Edmonds at this point, so welcome to town and have a fabulous, fabulous evening of memories and catching up! By the way, if you run across anyone in our fencing club back in the day (sponsored by the French teacher), I'd love to hear from you! ARNIE

When you come to the reunion, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos. We also want any grade school groups to have their photos taken together...so look for each other and try to coordinate getting that accomplished. I know I need a new group photo of North City Elementary "kids". Really looking forward to the 19th and I hope everyone has a wonderful time.

So far, I haven’t recognized a single name on here.  Not too surprising, I only spent the first half of my sophomore year and the last half of my senior year at Shoreline. Spent the other two years at Cleveland high school in Portland. Most of the people I knew at Shoreline we’re probably considered the problem children. Ken Pinkerton, Marty Sussort (not sure on that spelling).  We were behind the the  counterfeit ticket sales to the “up with people” assembly and the $5 a head Richmond Beach kegger where we burned the principal (Mr Boytz, if memory serves), in effigy.  Good thing I wasn’t there four years, probably would’ve ended up in prison.  Have fun all!

Life’s been good, but certainly not easy. Wasn’t sure I’d make the 50th, my kids said it was a miracle that I saw 60 let alone 68. Looking forward to see some of those old faces and sharing the memories that we each have of those school days. Send an email if you want, would love to hear from any of you. Dan

I just found out that Nancy\'s (Ramey: 1970) has her reunion this summer so we will be traveling back to Seattle for the summer of 2010. I hope to host the golf event at our place in Newort Oregon this spring. It was discussed with several 69ers at the reunion. Most importantly, we have our federal winery basic permit and are making some killer Pinot Noir! Stop by Sweet Earth Vineyards on your way through the Willamette Valley. We would love to see you again.

Well, it seems our "40th" was a big success!!  The two years of planning was certainly worth our time and energy. I had such a great time and I loved seeing all of you. Just wish there had been more time for catching up. And...how fun to remember moments from our earlier years. Seems I had forgotten about a few things and maybe just as well!!

Thanks for coming. It was all of you that made for such a great event. I hope we will all stay in contact and keep sending pictures.

And btw  everyone looked incredible!!

Well it is 4 days since the "event" and I continue to wax nostalgic. It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I still am racking my brain to remember many of the things some told me I pulled way back then. I wanted to thank Marilyn, Pam, Mike, Stephanie, Marty... everyone who was instrumental in planning and facilitating a very very wonderful and truly warm event. I know you all worked very very hard and committed a lot of time and effort to making this a very nice memory for all of us.  Again, my apologies to my golf partners and Loren I promise I am going to pursue those lessons! I hope to see many of you again much sooner than another 10 years.

Hello my fellow 1969 Shoreliners. I went to our 10th and 20th but missed them 30th because of our lack of interest. And now our 40th I shall miss as I'll be traversing Utah for a month on my way to sharig in the wedding festivities of my niece in Carlsbad,Ca on Sept 26th only to return here in Oct. I'm basically retired now after moving to Snohomish in 1995. My body feels it's full 58 yrs but my mind does't agree. Trials in Vietnam made for an up and down life although I've done fairly well and don't have to do it anymore. Was married twice and have been single since 1995. My only son was killed at yrs old in 1997. I still enjoy a cocktail or 3 but quit smoking cigarettes after 40 yrs and now relax with a bowl or two of good pipe tobacco in the evening. I lived in Costa Rica for most of two yrs in '02 & '03 after selling a small business I had. I still want to travel and I love southwestern New Mexico. That's me in a nutshell my gentle people. Enjoy our 40th. PEACE. I hope we have a 50th... Tom

Greetings to Class of ’69. First I would like to send a special thank you to the Reunion Committee for all the hard work they have done. I am certain a great time will be had by all. I had a good time at the 10yr reunion but missed the others because I was not aware of them. I was so hoping to attend this reunion to reconnect with many classmates, but sadly I will be leaving next week on a business trip to Singapore. I will not return home until early September. If anyone would like to catch up on days gone by please drop me an email. I also hope to see some pictures from the great reunion I will be missing. I will be joining you all in spirit and hope to hear from you soon. Go Spartans……

Great to see so many faces!  I spent my last year of high school at Shoreline, having moved to town with the Seattle Pilots baseball team.  Right after graduation I ended up in Southern California.  Now I'm married to Sharon with three children:  Asher, Spencer, and Rachel.  Currently I'm living in Aurora, Oregon.  Since I'm in  construction and the housing industry is in the pit, I am finding it a restraint on coming.  Month to go and I'm not 100% sure I can make it.

I'll say a few words here so that maybe I won't have to repeat myself too often at the 'do'.

Good things come to those who are patient. Husband Tom & I just celebrated our 28th anniversary.
Our (add superlative adjectives here) daughters are 36 & 35; one is married with 2 children, 9 & 11; the other is studying to become a surveyor.

Self-employed since '84, co-founder of a graphic design business; we created, designed, edited & published 10 volumes of the Bite of Seattle Cookbook.
I also run Hope Cement Finishing since husband Tom retired in 2003 .

I merged my love of gardening, travel & nature with photography & created BackyardCards which has led to a bunch of other stuff; the ideas just keep bubbling up. I have been making time to draw and paint at least 5 hours a week since 2003 and really love that. You can see the result with my 'now' picture; completed in March as part of a self-portrait project for a student show at South Seattle CC.

I wanted to offer my copy of the Tide yearbook (class of 1969) for the reunion. Perhaps there is someone who didn't buy one at the time, who would really like to have one. I have terminal cancer, so I will no longer be able to keep my copy. I would like to find it a good home, with someone who will enjoy having it.  Someone who wants it can contact me & I can ship it to them.

Living in Portland OR these days and as I write this....just 14 more working days till retirement!  Looking forward to the reunion.  Wanted to make it to the 30th until I found out it was cancelled due to low response.  Let's hope this time around we get a chance to get together. What a great website and I really like seeing how we have all "matured".  Maybe after a couple of months of retirement I'll post a then and now picture.
