Sorry I have missed all the reunions, but not sorry I am still ALIVE. Was surprised to see so many lost classmates, still woner what happened to Steve Stone. I\'m in North Carolina just above Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and have lived here for 34 years now. Married with 3 children and 4 grandkids, hope all had fun.
Still doing well after 67 years...still in North Carolina...still not coming to the reunion...
Hello All mM Dear Friends:I so much, look forward to seeing you All. Each and every one of us had an influence on who we are today. I thank you All for that !!!!I am an Int'l Oil Spill Consultant. I have been involved in most all of the Major oil spill cleanups around the world since 1974. I consult to the oil industry & govt's around the world. I live mainly in Seattle, Chelan and Hawaii. My office is wherever I have a internet connection/airport.
Sorry about the typo in previous msg.not illiterate, just "time zoned" here in Sydney ,Aus. today.LP
Thank you to the reunion committee for putting this together. I think that the turnout was pretty good although I missed some friends (Penny Goodwin, Lydia Funk, Rae Fluery and others). There was a great set of activities planned for the weekend. We enjoyed it all. I'll be uploading some photos.
Hello my fellow 1969 Shoreliners. I went to our 10th and 20th but missed them 30th because of our lack of interest. And now our 40th I shall miss as I'll be traversing Utah for a month on my way to sharig in the wedding festivities of my niece in Carlsbad,Ca on Sept 26th only to return here in Oct. I'm basically retired now after moving to Snohomish in 1995. My body feels it's full 58 yrs but my mind does't agree. Trials in Vietnam made for an up and down life although I've done fairly well and don't have to do it anymore. Was married twice and have been single since 1995. My only son was killed at yrs old in 1997. I still enjoy a cocktail or 3 but quit smoking cigarettes after 40 yrs and now relax with a bowl or two of good pipe tobacco in the evening. I lived in Costa Rica for most of two yrs in '02 & '03 after selling a small business I had. I still want to travel and I love southwestern New Mexico. That's me in a nutshell my gentle people. Enjoy our 40th. PEACE. I hope we have a 50th... Tom
Greetings to Class of ’69. First I would like to send a special thank you to the Reunion Committee for all the hard work they have done. I am certain a great time will be had by all. I had a good time at the 10yr reunion but missed the others because I was not aware of them. I was so hoping to attend this reunion to reconnect with many classmates, but sadly I will be leaving next week on a business trip to Singapore. I will not return home until early September. If anyone would like to catch up on days gone by please drop me an email. I also hope to see some pictures from the great reunion I will be missing. I will be joining you all in spirit and hope to hear from you soon. Go Spartans……
I did gradurate in 1963 and would like to be sent of any updates about friends etc. I am now living in Las Vegas and I am 65 now....Hope to hear from all friends....
I want to thank the reunion committee for all your incredible work. I had a blast and I know most did. Those that didn't make it will be sorry when they see pic's. Maybe next time. Melanie Maquire, I wish we had of seen each other. Where were you? Allison you will always be in my heart and you too Trudy. Lets have that Texas reunion. Laurie you are the "funnest" friend ever except for Don. hee hee
I'm looking forward to attending this 40 year reunion with my best friend from K-12, Diane (Basse) Lilleness. I live in Santa Barbara, California now and have been married for 31 years, worked for Western Airlines for 11 years as a flight attendant and quit in 1982 to raise my three sons. With that job complete, I've returned to college for my BA in Liberal Studies and will graduate from Anticoch University Santa Barbara in June 2010. See you all in August.
Oh my god, when did I get old!!! Really want to play some golf, really want to move to Texas and get out of this never ending winter. Miss my old friend Steve Mackenzie. Look forward to seeing everyone.Ken B, Jim H,Russ Cole, Ms. Tranter,...see you soon. Are you sure we can't do this reunion in Las Vegas???
I have continued to live in Shoreline since high school. My sons graduated from Shorewood. My wife says she has decided that we are going to come to the reunion. She is a Shorecrest grad, I think I'm getting set up so I can't decline to attend her's next year.
been thru a whole lot in 40 yrs ,just remarried alittle over a year ago
Well, it seems our "40th" was a big success!! The two years of planning was certainly worth our time and energy. I had such a great time and I loved seeing all of you. Just wish there had been more time for catching up. And...how fun to remember moments from our earlier years. Seems I had forgotten about a few things and maybe just as well!! Thanks for coming. It was all of you that made for such a great event. I hope we will all stay in contact and keep sending pictures. And btw everyone looked incredible!! Pam
Thank you "reunion committee" for putting in all the time, talent and devotion to this project. We certainly plan on attending in august and re-meeting everyone from the class of 1969 (that we havn't otherwise stayed in close contact with)......i think we are 'making history', once again:) smile smile and the best to all ! until then...........................
I wanted to offer my copy of the Tide yearbook (class of 1969) for the reunion. Perhaps there is someone who didn't buy one at the time, who would really like to have one. I have terminal cancer, so I will no longer be able to keep my copy. I would like to find it a good home, with someone who will enjoy having it. Someone who wants it can contact me & I can ship it to them.
I think I'm good for one of these every 20 years.
We are going to be able to make it as we are still in the States for now. I see some folks posted in the guest book that I haven't seen in the classmates section. Looking forward to seeing some faces from the distant past. Blessings to all Gary Blake
Well it is 4 days since the "event" and I continue to wax nostalgic. It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I still am racking my brain to remember many of the things some told me I pulled way back then. I wanted to thank Marilyn, Pam, Mike, Stephanie, Marty... everyone who was instrumental in planning and facilitating a very very wonderful and truly warm event. I know you all worked very very hard and committed a lot of time and effort to making this a very nice memory for all of us. Again, my apologies to my golf partners and Loren I promise I am going to pursue those lessons! I hope to see many of you again much sooner than another 10 years.
Thank you everyone who came to our 40th events. It wouldn't have been so much fun without you.... A special thanks to John Olson for quickly downloading some photos. I just got home from having my forehead stitched up after a random accident with a carousel horse at the zoo (I am not kidding) and those pictures made me smile. Can't wait to see more...
Just sent up a lot of pics, more to come...enjoy
Please go to the Photo Albums and upload some photos into Classmates Now! Thanks!
after all these years... and for all those that thought they woudn't make it this far. To all those that didn't make it...
or--- upload them in the new album "40th Reunion"...
Great to see so many faces! I spent my last year of high school at Shoreline, having moved to town with the Seattle Pilots baseball team. Right after graduation I ended up in Southern California. Now I'm married to Sharon with three children: Asher, Spencer, and Rachel. Currently I'm living in Aurora, Oregon. Since I'm in construction and the housing industry is in the pit, I am finding it a restraint on coming. Month to go and I'm not 100% sure I can make it.
sue boaz where are you! looking forward to seeing all those lost soles.
35 years of driving a CO2 Tanker, I new I should have paid more attention in class.
