Comment: My job will come to an end in December 2012  and had to transfer to denver.  I have been working as an auditor for a federal agency and lately been substituting part time in the Denver area as a grade shool teacher in public schools.  I don't want to think about retiring at all and there have been some opportunities to teach full time.   I keep active occasionally swing dancing (Lindy Hop) which I learned in Seattle and with single activities through my church.

I have 3 children, one in the area, married with 2 boys.  My two youngest are both currently in southern California. I've been retired for 6 years after over 40 years in nursing, including time as an Air Force nurse.

Comment: Just started a blog recently, so there's a link here.  By the time anyone reads this, probably I'll have given up on blogging.  Now that I don't have to work for a living anymore, ie retired, I have time for hobbies such as gardening with native plants, working with school children in a small town elementary, reading, writing, and doing nothing while looking at mountains. My husband and I now live in a logging town in the North Cascades.

Comment: My husband Jay and I have lived in Redmond for the last 30 years, and have been married for 45.  We have 5 children and 6 grandchildren, all living in the Seattle area.  Our oldest daughter and her husband purchased the horse ranch we owned and we build a new house on acreage behind the ranch in 2017.


We also live part time in Wailea, Maui in Hawaii.
