I will be pretty surprised if I know anyone at the reunion. But since it will be only minutes from me, I assume someone, " really wanted Jerry to come."

I attended the UW and Seattle Pacific until I married in 1974 and moved back to Alaska to a small village on Kodiak. We lived a very rustic life for 10 years as a commercial fisherman and raising 4 cool daughters. Lived in suburban Kodiak for 10 years until the Exxon spill which disrupted many lives, including mine.

Divorced, I changed my occupation to making Alutiiq Native Art and moved to Anchorage, Squim WA, and eventually Granite Falls. Have been here for about 12 years trying not to be a "Starving Artist". It has been a real satisfying adventure with a lot of success professionally. Have attended many shows and markets nationwide and have sold in galleries from Alaska to New York. Please visit my website.

Needless to say, in a poor economy, the artist is the canary in the coal mine. I am attempting to have the canary become the phoenix. I have expanded into new art forms that have promise. I am primarily a contemporary native carver, but am now having some fun playing with pottery. Basically I am always inspired, which is the coolest thing for an artist.

I am so happy to have lived long enough to look back and actually have what must be wisdom. After having survived a career as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. I have been blessed.

I have 4 great daughters and 3 grand daughters.

I think the reunion will be more of a chance to meet new people rather than see old friends.

Comment: Wow, 50 years, hard to believe.

Life has been very good for me over time. Living in Indianola, a small community in-between Kingston and Bainbridge Island, with my husband of 36 years.  I have three wonderful children, 50, 40 & 32 and five beautiful grandkids, 17, 12, 5, and (2) 4 year olds.

Loved my working days but am so glad to be retired. Enjoying traveling, gardening and currently helping watch the younger grandkids 3 to 4 days a week.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, even tho some of you I hardly ever knew, high school was like that for some of us, get involved with someone and lose all connections with classmates.

Here's to reconnecting and thanks to the commitee for all the hard work to make this happen.

With my specialty being Maternal/Child Health I worked primarily as either an Obstetrical Nurse and later as a Certified Nurse Midwife delivering babies and providing health care for women.I have  four wonderful grown children(Aaron,Ashley, Meghan & Brynn) and 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters.I've lived in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona since 1990 where I practiced Midwifery and Womens' health care last in my career.
